Enrichment Technology Demonstration
At Centrus’ Piketon facility, the company successfully demonstrated its advanced U.S. gas centrifuge uranium enrichment technology. Centrus is now conducting decontamination and decommissioning activities at the facility, which is located on the U.S. Department of Energy’s Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant reservation.
